Luis Jimenez, ESQ.

Luis has over 12 years of legal experience working with both private law firms and government agencies and has handled high profile media cases.  Luis’ Criminal Defense experience arises from a legal internship with the City of San Diego’s Office of the City Attorney where he gained valuable experience by assisting deputy city attorneys with misdemeanor cases. Luis also worked at the San Diego Superior Court as a court room clerk where he learned how to effectively interact with Judges, court room clerks, and other criminal defense attorneys.  Following law school, Luis worked as a Paralegal with two criminal defense attorneys drafting legal documents and assisting them with the handling of DUIs, prostitution, domestic violence, and other criminal matters.

Luis A. Jimenez is fluent in Spanish. Having grown up in a Hispanic community allows Luis to communicate directly with his Spanish speaking clients.  Luis’ ability to relate with the Hispanic and ethnically diverse communities allows him to empathize and better understand the needs of his clients.
